Brief History on the Creation of the Class
As part of the 2490 Paper on a Confederacy Military, the Luna Minoris Confederacy's High House of Policy published a series of technical specifications file that would include a highly diversified manifest of fightercrafts. This diverse manifest would be able to fulfill the many tasks that would be asked of a unified Confederacy military force including, but not limited to patrol, escort, and diplomatic missions as well. In order to improve planetary defense capabilities within the Luna Minoris Confederacy, the planned Confederacy military is expected to benefit from an extensive fightercraft force - with seperate atmospheric and space classes.
The Orome Class fighter is the only craft in the Luna Minoris Confederacy's planned fightercraft force that would be capable of operating in both an atmospheric condition as well as a space condition. The Orome Class fighter, fills the needs of the Luna Minoris Confederacy to have a fighter bomber capable of aiding the taking down of starships and large defense installations whether they be on the ground or in space.

Modular Ordinance Hardpoints: The Aribo incorporates the Modular Ordinance Hardpoint (MOH) technology developed by the Rosebourg Monarchy first sold to the Ventaars as part of an economic relief package for the Rosebourg Monarchy. The Ventaars have since improved the design. The MOH allows ordinance "modules", pre-loaded with weapons, to be installed in the hardpoints of a fightercraft. A computer chip comes with each module, interfaces with the fighters computer, and tells the computer the exact capabilities of the weapons package.
#1 Package: This package is composed of 1 KHDD package, a combination of 6 bombs of 500 megawatts each that can be fired from high altitude and can be fired at a precision point down on a planet. These weapons cause devastating damage, capable of annihilating entire city blocks, or killing huge portions of ground troops. These weapons, although able to be targeted at a precision point, are not precision weapons and in simulations it is known to the LMC that the potential for friendly fire incidents when using these weapons rises considerably. They constitute some of the most powerful fightercraft weaponry in the future LMC military's arsenal.
#2 & 3 Package: This package is composed of 8 Jus anti-starship missiles. The Jus missiles are specially designed missiles with a tip that is designed to pierce inside an enemy ship's hull prior to exploding - causing maximum damage. A Jus missile has within it a discharge equal to 200 megawatts - a very deadly payload. The anti-starship missiles can be replaced by Jus anti-ground missiles. These missiles are similar to their space counterparts, albeit slightly slower and carrying a bigger weapons payload - these are designed for taking out ground defense installations that may prove a danger to starships in orbit.
#4 Package: This package is composed of 2 LRIG torpedoes - designed to take out the most powerful of space installations. These two bombs carry 3000 ( megawatts equivalent of 3 laser discharges from the universe's most powerful gun) of discharge power each and are equipped with similar piercing heads as the Jus anti-starship missiles. These torpedoes are some of the deadliest torpedoes ever designed by any military force. They do have problems however, simulations have shown that sometimes, even if they hit their target they do not expload, and their delivery is slow enough that many fighter interceptors have been able to pick off the torpedo using their point laser weaponry.

The Orome class fighter is named after flying ace Orome, one of the Vantaar's most well known fightercraft pilot. Orome is best remembered for his work as the O.I.P. PeaceForce's fightercraft squadrons commanding officer - a position he filled for no less than a decade. The Orome fighter bomber was designed to pay homage to a man the Luna Minoris Confederacy felt it wanted to pay particular tribute in order to gain the Vantaar's military's support for the 2490 Paper on L.M.C. Military.
The fightercraft bomber the L.M.C., should it ever come into production, would be one of the deadliest fighters around. With some of the best weapons packages any fighterbomber has been equipped with, a squadron of these Orome could do serious damage to an unprepared space station. The Orome does, however, have plenty of weakenesses, it is a slow craft and its weapons likewise are the slowest missiles and torpedoes equipped on board any fighter.
